Lupranate®M20S is a polymeric MDI with a functionality of approximately 2.7. Lupranate M20S is suitable for the production of rigid insulation foams by molding, spraying, and frothing. It is also used for rigid and semi-flexible integral skin foams, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, and high-resiliency flexible foams. Inlow catalyzed rigid urethane formulations, the foam rise time can be lengthened by 20-30%. The slower reactivity can be advanta- geous in applications such as large rigid foam panels or molded flexible foams.

Storage: Lupranate M20S is supplied in tank cars, tank trucks, and drums. Once a container has been opened, care should be taken to exclude moisture. The most favorable temperature for storage is 15-35°C. If stored at higher temperatures, or if moisture is not excluded, an undesirable increase in viscosity will occur. Below 15°C, the product becomes difficult to pump and pour. Below 0°C, crystallization may occur.
The shelf life of Lupranate M20S is six months if the temperature is maintained at 15-35°C and moisture is excluded.
